Day 1 Arrive at Durban International Airport where you will be welcomed by an Ambula Tours Representative and transferred to your choice of selected accommodation along the south coast.
Day 2 Tee off for 18-holes of fabulous golf at the Wild Coast Country Club. Playing at the Wild Coast is a remarkable experience, as this course climbs and ascends through ravines and across waterfalls, with breathtaking views of the rugged terrain and the Indian Ocean. This Robert Trent Jones Junior course is relatively short and easy to conquer on a calm day, but it can be a brute in strong wind.

Day 5 Enjoy a day of leisure
Day 6 explore the city – an eclectic mix of nightspots, Indian Markets, museums, casinos, gourmet restaurants and beautiful beaches.
Day 7 Tee off for a round of golf at the prestigious Zimbali Country Club. This 18-hole championship golf course designed by world-class designer Tom Weiskopf, former British and South African Open champion, offers a scenically beautiful and challenging game. Besides a fine layout, Weiskopf has created an eco-friendly experience, the game winding through forest, around the Zimbali lakes and over cane bridges across the water hazards.
Day 8 Transfer by road to Shakaland for an excursion of a lifetime where we take a step back in time and enter the world of Shaka, King of the Zulu’s. We get an opportunity to feel the vibe and rhythm of Africa with some traditional Zulu dancing.
Beach & Berg - KwaZulu Natal & Durban

Day 1 - Durban You will welcomed by an Ambula Tours representative at Durban International Airport, and will be taken on a city tour of Durban. Durban is South Africa’s third largest city, an exciting hub around a busy harbour. You will be taken to Durban’s newest addition - the uShaka Marine World, the fifth largest marine park in the world (the theme park entry is for optional and for own account). Day 2 - Sani Pass After an early breakfast you will be transfer to Sani Pass. You will then be taken on an interesting tour of the Sani Pass by 4x4 into Lesotho (passports required!). At the top of the pass you will be shown a Basotho Village. You will also stop at the local pub, where you will be able to enjoy a splendid lunch (for own account). Day 3 - Drakensberg After breakfast enjoy a 5km walk to the Bushman Caves and paintings. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or make use of the many facilities at or nearby the resort, including 18 hole golf course, horse riding, tennis, hiking or walking and much more. This package is an ideal add-on to other tours while visiting the KwaZulu Natal Province, home of the mighty Zulu Kingdom. This tour, taking you into the heart of pristine African bush includes a cultural experience, a wildlife safari experience with opportunities of seeing the “Big Five” and a visit to one of South Africa’s five World Heritage Sites.
Day 1 An Ambula Tours representative will meet you at your Durban hotel and transfer you by road to Shakaland for an excursion of a lifetime. We get an opportunity to feel the vibe and rhythm of Africa with some traditional Zulu dancing. Lunch is a full buffet combining Western and more traditional African foods. We then move further inland, into the heart of Zululand. Arrive at your choice of Game Lodge and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
Day 2 Enjoy a full day safari experience in open land rover vehicles in the African bush, and home of the “Big 5” – rhino, elephant, leopard, lion and buffalo.
Day 3 Early morning breakfast before heading on to the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, a proclaimed World Heritage Site. Here we take a 2 hour boat ride up the Estuary, one of the largest in Africa and home to some 800 hippo, 2000 crocodiles, plus varied birdlife. Day 4 Road transfer to Durban International Airport for onward or homeward bound travel.

Day 2 - Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve After breakfast we transfer to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. This park, being about 96,000 ha, is one of South Africa’s biggest and oldest game reserves, famous for its preservation of the White Rhino and is home to the “Big 5”. Day 4 After breakfast we head on to the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, a proclaimed World Heritage Site. Here we take a 2 hour boat ride up the Estuary, one of the largest in Africa and home to some 800 hippo, 2000 crocodiles, plus varied birdlife. In the quaint holiday village of St Lucia you will have the opportunity to visit the various curio stalls or the crocodile farm. After lunch (for own account) we depart for Shakaland, a Zulu Cultural Village overlooking the Phobane Lake. Here we take a step back in time and enter the world of Shaka, King of the Zulus at his Great Kraal while authentically capturing the customs and traditions practiced during his reign. During our tour we are guided through the Zulu umuzi (village) where visitors can discover the secrets of sangomas (spiritual healers) and visually experience basket weaving, beer making and pottery.
